Good morning,
At last night's Board of Education meeting a calendar change was approved. September 16 will now be a full day of closure for students and teachers for the bond referendum vote while the Friday going into Presidents’ Weekend (February 13) will be the early dismissal day. Those two days essentially are being flipped. The revised calendar (with those two changes highlighted) is attached below.

Submission of this plan is a requirement of the New Jersey Department of Education. The Board of Education still has no intent to transition to such a model. The strong commitment of the Board of Education is and will continue to be to traditional in-person student school days.
The regular BOE meeting has been rescheduled for August 11th. Please see attached.

This meeting will open in public at 5:30 p.m. in the Media Center of the Arthur L. Johnson High School located at 365 Westfield Avenue and immediately go into Executive Session.
