Local Food Resources for NJ Families
Wednesday, October 29, 2025
Hello,
In light of the potential loss of SNAP benefits on November 1st, please note the New Jersey Basic Needs Information Hub offers a comprehensive listing of websites that can assist households in locating a local food pantry or soup kitchen. Families may also choose to access the Community Food Bank of New Jersey, Food Bank of South Jersey, Fulfill, Norwescap, and Mercer Street Friends websites directly to search for local food resources.
Thank you.

Back-to-School Newsletter & Chain of Communication
Wednesday, September 3, 2025
Hi everyone,
I am thrilled to report that we had a great first day with our students today. It was wonderful being back with them, and we are looking forward to amazing things to come.
As we step forward into this new year, let us be certain to build on our strengths and accomplishments of the past. The newsletter attached below, compiled by Mrs. Elizabeth Clee, our District Publicist, will assist with this reflection.
Also attached below is a Chain of Communication document so that any concerns that you may have may be addressed in a most efficient fashion. This document can also be found on the district website under the “Our Team” section.
Many thanks. As I always say, our strong partnership with you makes the good things that we set out to do possible. Enjoy the rest of the day and evening ahead.

Bus Routes SY 25-26
Wednesday, August 27, 2025
Good morning,
Please log into your child's Genesis account and then look under the "Bus" tab to see if he/she is scheduled to be on a bus route this coming school year. If you see a route number, then follow the below steps to find the route specifics.
Go to http://www.clarkschools.org.
Select the "More" tab towards the top right of the page.
Select the "Departments" sub-tab from that list.
Select the "Business Office" sub-tab from that list.
Click on the "2025-2026 Route Summaries" link toward the bottom left of that page.
A link to that document is also included below for your convenience.
If you do not see a route number within Genesis, then your child will not be receiving transportation through the school this year (with the exception of UCVTS students who are eligible for transportation there despite not having a route number in Genesis).
Below is a link to a document that explains how UCVTS busing is impacted in inclement weather.
Please email Mrs. Christine Unish, Transportation Secretary, at cunish@clarkschools.org with any questions.
As always, thank you. Enjoy the rest of the week ahead.

Chapter 27 Emergency Virtual or Remote Instruction Programs Plan 2025-2026 School Year
Submission of this plan is a requirement of the New Jersey Department of Education. The Board of Education still has no intent to transition to such a model. The strong commitment of the Board of Education is and will continue to be to traditional in-person student school days.
